Mdina Glass was set up in 1968 as Malta’s first glass making company using a blend of traditional glassblowing techniques and those from the burgeoning studio glass movements of the early-to-mid 60s.
On this Mdina glass vase, the meeting of deep red, yellowy gold, dark brown and white sets an elegant tone, which is further complemented by the beautiful patterned bubbles that enhance its beauty.
The vase is signed at the bottom by the artist.
