The RAB SLIM17FAFC60 is a highly efficient full cutoff LED wall pack delivering up to 9,321 lumens at a dedicated 60W output, featuring field-adjustable 3000K/4000K/5000K color temperatures. Operating on a 120–277V universal driver, this luminaire comes standard with an integrated selectable on/off photocell to provide automated dusk-to-dawn security lighting out of the box. Built with an IP65 Wet Location rating and an IK08 impact rating, it provides an ultra-durable, dark-sky friendly lighting solution for building perimeters, entryways, and facade applications.

This contractor-friendly wall pack provides highly efficient downlight illumination ranging from 8,703 to 9,321 lumens depending on the selected color temperature, achieving an outstanding efficacy of up to 162.2 lumens per watt. The integrated CCT switch allows installers to easily match existing site lighting by toggling between warm white, cool white, and daylight. The fixture features a 0-degree full cutoff design, preventing light spillage into the night sky and minimizing glare. The high-performance LED light engine maintains a highly prolonged rated life of 100,000 hours, virtually eliminating maintenance over the life of the fixture.

Electrical & Controls

This fixture operates on a constant current 120–277V AC driver with standard 0–10V dimming functionality (requires a separate 0-10V DC dimming circuit to operate). The electrical components are securely protected by built-in 6kV surge protection. To maximize energy savings, the SLIM17FAFC60 includes a discreet, integrated photocell with a selectable on/off switch, enabling hands-free dusk-to-dawn operation without the need for external timers or networked controls.

Construction & Durability

Engineered for tough outdoor environments, the luminaire features a precision die-cast aluminum housing and door frame finished in a high-durability bronze color. It carries an IP65 rating for complete protection against dust and water ingress in wet locations, as well as an IK08 impact rating for robust protection against physical strikes (capable of withstanding a 5-joule impact). The fixture operates reliably in extreme temperatures, starting safely in cold environments down to -40°C (-40°F) and handling ambient heat up to 50°C (122°F).

Installation & Mounting

The SLIM17 series is designed for quick and straightforward installation. The backplate features hinged wiring access and conduit entries on the back, sides, top, and bottom to easily accommodate various surface wiring or recessed junction box configurations.
