Armbury Static Climbing Rope is ideal for sports climbers. During braiding, the sheath and core of this rope have been designed to minimize the slippage while providing maximum tension management to create stabilization and allowing for better balance, handling and durability.

This rope withstands (9) falls under EN1891 (safety requirements and testing procedures for static ropes); a static elongation of 4.5%, sheath slippage of 2%, and a sheath percentage of 39. The weight of this rope is 64 g/m with an impact force of 5.2 kN (tenacity with knots, 17.8 kN).

The Static Climbing Rope meets safety requirements relevant to European regulations as well as those of the UIAA (International Mountaineering and Climbing Foundation).

ALL-PURPOSE ROPE. Static ropes are designed to have little or no stretch offering maximum strength with minimal elongation. Unlike its dynamic counterpart, a static rope offers more control without any "bounce" on the descent. It is ideal for rappelling/abseiling, caving, canyoneering, and rescue work.
