Colored Pencil Top Coat This top coat can be used for both colored pencil and watercolor techniques, serving a dual purpose. However, due to its strong coloring adhesion, designs must be scrubbed firmly with alcohol for removal. While it delivers excellent color retention, we do not recommend using it as a matte top coat.
- 1.This is a specialty top coat gel nail polish, differing from conventional matte top coats in texture, application method, and functionality.
- 2.It is a wipe-clean top coat (not no-wipe), meaning the inhibition layer must be removed before use. After curing for 60 seconds under a 36W lamp, wipe off the sticky residue with 75% alcohol pads, then allow the alcohol to evaporate before coloring.
- 3.Apply in thin layers only—thick application will result in poor color payoff.
- 4.Curing heat warning: Thicker layers intensify heat during curing, and excessive thickness also reduces pencil adhesion. Minor brushstrokes from thin application do not affect coloring.
- 5.Texture note: The formula is opaque, resembling rice paste or paper pulp—this is normal when opening the product.
